Every wedding holds a special place in our hearts, but, Kara and Andy’s wedding will always be seared on our brains as one of the most memorable we have witnessed. Kara found us many moons ago when she was helping a friend find a wedding photographer, and as luck would have it, she started following our blog from Washington D.C.

Like many couples Kara and Andy met at work. Everyday he would ask her to come to his desk and help him with Excel documents. What Kara didn’t realize was that Andy knew how to work with Excel quite well, he really just wanted to talk to her. They started dating and he asked her to move-in (that’s when she won a contest on our blog).

I remember her email like it was yesterday… Well, it turns out Andy not only wants me to sleep beside him every night, now he also wants to get married! Celebrating with their family was one of the best times we’ve had as wedding photographers. We not only walked away feeling like we are a part of their family, but we walked away feeling like we have known all of their friends for years. We can’t wait until the next time we get to hang out
