Wow, it has been a while! Between boudoir, engagements, and weddings we’ve had a busy start to this wedding season. Here’s a little peek of what we’ve been up too.
There’s SO much more on the horizon… Stay tuned! 😉

On Nicole and Amir’s first date they had a cute little argument about which corner they were supposed to meet on. Amir had been waiting on the wrong corner for Nicole and they knew right away they were perfect for each other.
Not only are they fun to photograph, but they also bring out the best in each other. They are so much fun to be around and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding. How can you not fall in love with these two?
Jennifer and Chris met at a college bar at CSU in Fort Collins. She is a social worker and he is a submariner in the Navy and just happens to be stationed in one of our favorite cities… Seattle. They are coming back to Denver in October to get married in the state where it all started. After all, Colorado will always be home for Jennifer and Chris.
Chris just returned home from his most recent deployment, and of course, Jennifer was there waiting for him as he stepped off the submarine. We only spent a few short hours stomping around the streets and beaches of Seattle. But, during our time together shooting one thing was obvious, these two are over the top madly in love.
The last few weeks have been amazing here in the Houseman household. We have some exciting things in the works and some awesome weddings coming up this summer. We’ve seen a lot of our past clients in the last few weeks and we often wonder how we got so lucky to work with such amazing people.
Last week we were fortunate enough to have Jessie and Jason’s Day After Session featured on The Charity Wedding. Make sure that you check out their Trash the Dress Friday: In An Old Mining Town feature and leave a little bit of blog love.
This past Sunday, Adam was able to catch up with Tina, Dan, and their dog Moe during their Denver Engagement session. Its amazing we were able to schedule it between the recent spring storms we have had. We can’t wait for their wedding this July… it’s going to be a good one!
Happy Hump Day!
What I love about spring is the small glimpses of summer. The trees and grass are starting to turn green. Flowers are starting to bloom. You hear the birds chirping and the smell of barbecue. But, the best part of spring is Spring Training.
When the boys come back from Arizona, we’re one step closer to summer… and baseball season. As the season gets underway I can’t wait for Sunday afternoons, wearing sunscreen, drinking flat beer, and eating hot dogs. We’re still convinced the only reason Zoe loves going to baseball games and cheering on the Rockies is because their uniform has purple in it.
So, what do you do when you get engaged and are big baseball fans? Do your engagement session at at Coors Field. Here are some highlights from Lisa and Rory’s engagement season just weeks before opening day.
Here’s to freshly cut grass, cotton candy, and one heck of a season! Enjoy.
