Boudoir has a NEW home!07.05.11

Today is really exciting for us. Today we officially launch our new boudoir site… Fine Art Boudoir! For a long time we’ve gone back and forth about posting boudoir on the blog. So when it came time to redesigning the website we thought it was the perfect time to separate boudoir and weddings. We are twice as busy this year with boudoir than we have been in years past, so it just makes sense.

The good news is we can post way more photos of all of the new sessions I’ve been doing! The sad news is I will miss my partner in crime. As many of our boudoir clients know Adam decided to do more behind the scenes work. Although I’ll miss Adam at the sessions, all good things have to change at some point.

The other part of the good news is I will be doing a bit of blogging about boudoir. So, update your Google Reader and subscribe to Fine Art Boudoir! Don’t forget to click on over to Fine Art Boudoir {A Division of Adam & Imthiaz Photography} and check out the new site! :)

Featured: Hindsight Bride & Junebug Weddings03.31.11

Happy Thursday! :)

As this week is starting to come to an end it comes with some good news. Today Stephani and Billy’s engagement session is featured on Hindsight Bride. I know I say this a lot, but I love this blog! I do read a lot of blogs and I frequent them all for different reasons. I love the fact there are so many different blogs out there and they provide different inspiration for brides of all personalities.

Hindsight Bride is no different. Christie provides brides with advise on things that worked, didn’t work, and everything else in between. If you haven’t checked out her blog yet make sure you do because its honest advise from brides just like you. Thank you so much Christie, not only for featuring Stephani and Billy’s Artful + Modern Colorado Engagement, but also for the kind words about Adam and I.

We also had a few other features last week. On Friday Junebug Weddings featured some of our boudoir work on Photobug! I can not say enough about the ladies over at Junebug Weddings. They are fantastic! Junebug Weddings is such an AMAZING resource for brides and photographers. Adam and I LOVE being a part of the amazing community of talented wedding vendors there. To be honest, boudoir photography is really hard to get featured and the fact that we have been featured on two amazing blogs (you might remember our feature on OneWed’s Savvy Scoop) has been the highlight of my year so far!

If you haven’t already added Junebug Weddings Photobug blog or What Junebug Loves blog to your Google Reader, you need to. These ladies are fashion obsessed, photo obsessed, wedding fanatics, and flat out good people and we can’t thank them enough for supporting Adam and I. Make sure you check out our boudoir feature and leave a little bit of blog love! :)

And last but certainly not least… On Saturday we were featured again on Moment Junkie. I. Am. Completely. Obsessed. With. This. Blog. Any blog that celebrates the art of wedding photojournalism is a big hit in my book. Make sure you check out Moment Junkie and add it to your Google Reader!

It starts TOMORROW! Trunk show season10.29.10

Tomorrow starts trunk show season at Blue Bridal Couture. On so many levels I wish I was getting married next year because one of my favorite designers Tara Keely’s Spring 2011 line will be at Blue. I love trunk shows because its your chance to find that perfect dress at a discounted price.

Make sure you check out Blue Bridal Couture’s website for all the information on making appointments and hours. Not only will you fall in love with their new store you’ll fall in love with Sarah and Aubrie all while finding the perfect dress.

I could go on for days about how much we love the dresses, the ladies, and the store itself. Any chance we get we jump at the chance to collaborate with Blue, because honestly, they are so much fun to be around. Do yourself a favor and go and check out the upcoming trunk shows… you’ll thank me later! :)

Blue Bridal Couture09.30.10

I have a confession. Anytime I get a chance to go visit Blue Bridal Couture I jump at it. So much so, that when we take Zoe to movies we go downtown, simply because Zoe and I have to go see pretty dresses. The Blue Girls (as we call them in our household) are some of our favorite people in the industry.

We love collaborating with them and this time was no different. The last time we photographed this Tara Keely dress it was black. This time we embraced Maria Antoinette for one last early morning shoot before trunk show season begins. I love trunk shows simply because you get a chance to see all of the new dresses before anyone else can.

This weekend kicks off with Blue Bridal Couture’s biggest trunk show of the year and a 2011 preview of La Sposa, Simone Carvalli, and Brides Head Revisited Accessories. The Tara Keely trunk show will be November 5th-7th. With every trunk show you get 10% off and appointments are required. Make sure that you check out Blue’s website for ALL the upcoming trunk show dates and hours to make your appointment. And don’t be surprised if you see me and Zoe running around in there ;) .
