Its been a full two weeks since our last post. At first the lull started with not knowing what to write about because my heart was all over the place with Zoe starting kindergarten. Then it became about getting us into a routine. Between ballet, golf classes, and school, sometimes things just have to suffer and you find yourself just needing to be a PARENT. So here we are two weeks later. School has been in session for a full week and we’re all adjusting to our daily routine. Zoe is an amazing little girl. The last few weeks haven’t been the perfect cake walk, but her strength is amazing and we are SO proud of her.
Yesterday made life a little bit sweeter. The AMAZING ladies over at Junebug Weddings, featured Kirsten and Mike. I’m not even going to lie… this feels good, real good! And, its a great way to make our first appearance in two weeks. There are so many wedding blogs that I follow on a daily basis and Junebug Weddings is up there on the top of the list. Its been like that since the very beginning. Before their list of the world’s best wedding photographers was even a thought, Adam and I would day dream about being featured on their blog.
Now here we are with such an amazing feature from the one couple everyone falls in love with. How can you not… they’re Kirsten and Mike, you can’t help but fall in love with those two people. You can read all about their wedding on the What Junebug Loves blog and you can also check out their color palette and WONDERFUL list of vendors that helped make their day a shining success in the real wedding section!

Last week we had another feature. This time it was Wei and Vicky featured on Brenda’s Wedding Blog. They had a beautiful wedding and make a photographer’s job so easy! Oh Monday… you creeped up on me like Saturday and Sunday were non-existent. We are officially in the home stretch we have 10 days until school starts. Summer vacation is over and soon it will be fall. To be honest, I’m not ready for summer to be over. Our little girl is growing up and making a big decision. One big decision will be her hair. Zoe is insistent that her hair will be cut before school starts. She loves her long hair, but is ready for a change. It will be the very first haircut for Zoe, so stayed tuned for some new photos of her.

To say this wedding season has been busy for us would be an understatement. We have tons going on dreaming of a weekend off. This weekend Adam will be second shooting with the fabulous Adam Welch tonight and then again tomorrow with our good friend Otto Schulze. All I have to say is boy will it be confusing with 2 photographers at one wedding named Adam!
This week was a good week. We started the week off with Eric and Sunshine being featured on Truly Engaging and then again today with Miriel and Josh on The Loveliest Day! Thank you so much to Heidi with Truly Engaging and Melissa with The Loveliest Day for the wonderful features.
