Its been a full two weeks since our last post. At first the lull started with not knowing what to write about because my heart was all over the place with Zoe starting kindergarten. Then it became about getting us into a routine. Between ballet, golf classes, and school, sometimes things just have to suffer and you find yourself just needing to be a PARENT. So here we are two weeks later. School has been in session for a full week and we’re all adjusting to our daily routine. Zoe is an amazing little girl. The last few weeks haven’t been the perfect cake walk, but her strength is amazing and we are SO proud of her.

Yesterday made life a little bit sweeter. The AMAZING ladies over at Junebug Weddings, featured Kirsten and Mike. I’m not even going to lie… this feels good, real good! And, its a great way to make our first appearance in two weeks. There are so many wedding blogs that I follow on a daily basis and Junebug Weddings is up there on the top of the list. Its been like that since the very beginning. Before their list of the world’s best wedding photographers was even a thought, Adam and I would day dream about being featured on their blog.

Now here we are with such an amazing feature from the one couple everyone falls in love with. How can you not… they’re Kirsten and Mike, you can’t help but fall in love with those two people. You can read all about their wedding on the What Junebug Loves blog and you can also check out their color palette and WONDERFUL list of vendors that helped make their day a shining success in the real wedding section!

Please make sure you go and check out their feature. Leave a little blog love for the ladies over at Junebug. And, if you haven’t bookmarked them yet in Google Reader, you better do so now. These ladies have an amazing eye for detail and inspiration.

Enjoy your weekend ya’ll! ;)

Featured! Olivia & Adam

Okay. So, you’ve seen two sneak peeks. First was a few dancing photos from Olivia and Adam’s wedding. Then we showed you a glimpse into their Rehearsal Dinner.

Now we can show you their wedding photos through the eyes of a wedding blogger. We are super excited to say that Olivia and Adam are featured on Hi-Fi Weddings. The ultimate music blog for weddings.

We will be posting our faves this week, but for now  here’s another little sneak peek into one of the craziest dance parties we’ve been too. Words still can’t say how grateful we are to have been a part of this wedding.

Make sure you head on over to Hi-Fi Weddings and check out A Real Hi-Fi Wedding: Olivia & Adam’s Rachin’ Dancin’ Party!

We’re quoted… well…. Adam is!

I remember like it was yesterday when we did our first boudoir session. One of our brides wanted to do the session as a wedding gift. We weren’t sure even then if we wanted to add boudoir to our services or not. Now here we are a few years later rocking boudoir photography. We were flattered when we got the call from the Boulder Daily Camera a few months back asking if we thought boudoir photography was a trend for 2010.

Well of course it is! Here’s what Adam had to say:

The issue came out in April if you have not had a chance to see it you can CLICK HERE to read more from Adam and read all of the leading trends for 2010 in Colorado.

Happy Tuesday! :)

The best gift for your groom…

I’ll be the first to admit. We tell every bride we talk too that boudoir photography is the best gift you can give your hubby-to-be. It doesn’t matter if you are about to get married or have been married for 10 years. Its a special gift that your significant other will love forever.

I love this series that Adam caught at Olivia and Adam’s rehearsal dinner. We did Olivia’s session months ago and she wanted to give Adam something special on the eve of their wedding. This moment they had together when Adam looks at his book for the first time… well…. it doesn’t get much better than this…
