It seems like we have been waiting for Don and Hiep’s wedding forever. They have been a part of our lives for over a year. Between their engagement party and their engagement photos we have gotten to know the two of them as a couple. They are so fantastic together. They are so in love and their bond is amazing.

We know how hard it can be to plan a wedding from two different states (that’s how Adam and I planned ours). Their wedding day was perfect. Exactly what they wanted. They had family and friends from all over the world come and share their day. It was the perfect way to kick off the wedding season. Don and Hiep’s aunts came together and left no detail unturned. They designed an amazing reception at the Cable Center and the flowers were stunning.

Thank you Don and Hiep for allowing us to document your lives for a year. Your wedding day was perfect. You two are so amazing and we wish you a lifetime of happiness.

What is it about taking a women in a white dress on a city street and people just flock to her? They scream congratulations, take pictures, and stare. She may not even be a bride, but they don’t care they are happy for her. Try taking out four women dressed in wedding gowns the night of the season opener for the Colorado Rockies. It was pure madness. They were not brides, but people still shouted and screamed. The ladies created a buzz around the 16th Street mall, people wanted to know how four brides happen to be in the same place at the same time. It was simple, Blue Bridal Couture was having a party.

Blue introduced Colorado to Bride’s Head Revisited, a trendy couture bridal accessory company out of NYC. They threw a fantastic party with some of our favorite people on hand. It is always fun to catch up with our friends before the craziness of wedding season.

About a year ago I started reading Elizabeth Anne Designs. I heard about the EAD blog when Ami, the mastermind behind EAD, was renewing her vows with her husband. Her blog has become a daily read for me and today makes reading her blog even better. Ami has featured Chelsea and Gabe’s wedding and day after session on EAD.

He grew up and worked on a ranch. They both knew when they started planning their wedding it had to be a ranch style event. What they did not know was their plans would change two weeks before the big day. She was almost in tears when she called and told us her venue had fallen through. She did not think the fairytale wedding she had been planning would happen. She asked for our help on trying to find something that would work at the last minute. She knew one thing, she would marry the man of her dreams regardless, and that’s what kept her together. The next two days we had dropped everything to help Will and Brittany find a new venue for their wedding. Brittany and her mom felt as if they had just started the wedding planning process all over. They were visiting venue after venue looking for something that would work for the wedding.

We called her almost every hour with updates on venues that were available, and could accommodate 350 guests. Most of the day, we were unable to reach her. We finally decided to get in touch with one of our other couples who were getting married on a ranch a few weeks after Will and Brittany.

Spruce Mountain Ranch had not officially opened their doors for business, but we still called to see if they would be able to help out. We called Brittany again to tell her about the ranch and were still not able to get in touch with her. Late that night she called thanking us of all of our help. She told us that she visited Spruce Mountain Ranch and it was perfect.

Will and Brittany’s day was fabulous. Their friends and family gathered at Cherry Hills Community Church to see them exchange vows. After their beautiful ceremony everyone headed down to Spruce Mountain Ranch to party and dance the night away. Brittany had the perfect fairytale wedding she was hoping for and so much more…
