yes my brother! superb frame!
The last few weeks have been amazing here in the Houseman household. We have some exciting things in the works and some awesome weddings coming up this summer. We’ve seen a lot of our past clients in the last few weeks and we often wonder how we got so lucky to work with such amazing people.
Last week we were fortunate enough to have Jessie and Jason’s Day After Session featured on The Charity Wedding. Make sure that you check out their Trash the Dress Friday: In An Old Mining Town feature and leave a little bit of blog love.
This past Sunday, Adam was able to catch up with Tina, Dan, and their dog Moe during their Denver Engagement session. Its amazing we were able to schedule it between the recent spring storms we have had. We can’t wait for their wedding this July… it’s going to be a good one!
Happy Hump Day!

Wow, Tina & Dan are super gorgeous! Really beautiful portraits.
What a beautiful couple and amazing location! You did such a great job capturing both in a classy way! Amazing work! You Rock!
I love the scene-setter of #1, making it more than an engagement shoot, and the expression and light on #3 are exceptional, both emotional and flattering. Great couple and great work.
Beautiful set, the 5th row down is superb!
what a great location!
First shot = awesome! Love the last black and white of the set as well. Excellent work!
Talk about a super gorgeous couple! Love the first wide angle b&w and the 3rd one from the top. Her expression is just beautiful

SPACTACULAR!!! great photos… and these two are very much in love…
Whoa bro! That first frame is just awesome. I bet you are excited for their wedding!
Forgive my use of the word, but that first picture is absolutely EPIC!
So many wonderful shots in one location! Very Nice.
Nice work guys, especially the first one…like everyone else has said, it really sets the scene well.
The strong composition of the first image is awesome – love the fun, candid portraits and moments you’ve captured here.
I love, love, love that first color shot. Stellar!!
So this post may seem a little backwards. You’ve already seen Ryan and Caki’s Denver Wedding, but the night before they had an incredible rehearsal dinner at Restaurant Kevin Taylor at the Hotel Teatro in Denver. Adam and I were lucky enough to get an invite to Ryan and Caki’s intimate dinner with their family and friends.
The night was full of delicious food, wine, laughter, and epic toasting. Adam and I felt right at home with both of their families and we got to know all of them on a personal level. We thought we would share some photos from the dinner because when it came down to it we wanted an excuse to show off the FOOD!
Man, do we love food photography. Happy Monday!

Wow, you captured a lot of beautiful emotion and fabulous expressions! The food looks amazing too!
Wow, that dinner looks fabulous! Some great expressions here too, gorgeous set!
Captured some lovely candids at the same time! Nicely done!
I’m officially starving now! Wow that food looks good…. Really liking the image of the man through the kitchen door too… Very nice!
Mmmm foood. Foood. Wait what? There were people? I’m still thinking of those desserts. Yummy! Great set, I love the one of the gentleman through the swing doors.
You really do an amazing job of capturing emotions. And food. Wow, looks straight out of a 5 star restaurant or something!
Such a different style, very journalistic. I love it. Your images have a very RAW feel to them. un-posed, and natural. Your use of light show a real understanding.
I love the moments you caught, you truly have an inspiring, amazing eye. Great job!
lovely storytelling. and i obviously could use a lesson or two in food photography
there’s something different about how you guys processed this one and i love it! superb!
Love this! How fun to photograph a rehearsal dinner! Love it!
Oh, those food shots blow my mind! Awesome work!
What I love most about working in the wedding industry is all the people we meet. Its not just photographers, it is florists, caterers, and everyone else in between. In the end we all have a purpose for being at a wedding and it is to make the couple’s day memorable. The same can be said for family portraits. Photographers are there to document a families life one glimpse or one moment at a time.
Its not often that we do family sessions, but when we do we LOVE it! When we met Kyle, Tanya, and Elizabeth for the first time it was magical. Not only are they a beautiful family, but they are so happy! Elizabeth’s smile puts a smile on your face and her laugh is contagious. She is so full of life and so much fun to be around.
They are a tight little family unit and we are so happy we were able to document them. Kyle also happens to be the chef/owner of TKE Catering here in Denver, which is an acronym for Tanya, Kyle, and Elizabeth. Talk about family owned and operated!
Make sure you check out TKE Catering’s website for your next event in Denver. Happy Monday!
