Micah & Eli: Lifestyle Session04.20.11

As parents we’re always on the quest for that perfect picture of our kids. We try to bribe them and they run off, hide, make funny faces, or frown because they know they will ruin the picture.

Cynthia always wanted professional photos of her boys. She knew her boys were getting to the age that they were “too cool” for photos. Eli and Zoe are in the same class and you might remember this photo of Eli that Adam captured on the play ground one day after school.

So, we set a date and Adam headed out to try and capture Micah and Eli. There’s something that happens in front of the camera with kids and Adam. He just knows how to get them to do what he wants and their personality just shines through. This is one of my favorite family sessions that Adam has done and I wanted to share it with you because really… Micah and Eli are SO cute and natural in front of the camera.

Happy Wednesday! :)

Sarah and Jeremy rule!04.12.11

Sarah and Jeremy’s wedding is one for the record books. They broke away from tradition and wanted to do something that would be memorable. Surrounded by their closet friends and family they had a unforgettable wedding weekend in Breckenridge, Colorado.

You might remember their snowy engagement in Black and White we blogged about back in January, well their engagement session has been featured on the UK blog Beyond/Beyond. Last week we were fortunate again to be featured on the wonderful blog Hindsight Bride. Sarah opened up and gave a little insight on what not to worry about on your wedding day. I loved the advice Sarah gave for her intimate snowy winter Breckenridge wedding.

In other news, Tiffany and Ed’s engagement session was featured today on Borrowed and Bleu. And, of course blog posts are WAY better with photos. Here’s a few favorites from Sarah and Jeremy’s wedding. :)

Caki & Ryan: Denver Wedding04.06.11

Ryan met Caki after he became friends with her older brother. When one of their mutual friends introduced Caki to Ryan everyone knew it was the perfect match. Caki’s brother gave his blessing and knew his little sister found “the one”. They quickly became the perfect couple traveling and cooking together making everyone jealous over the dishes they would create.

Ryan would make her grilled cheese sandwiches after a night on the town. He would cook a feast in the kitchen while she watched “girlie” television. He would be listening when she thought he wasn’t and would do something unexpected like send her flowers when he went on a business trip. He wasn’t just her best friend, he IS her soul mate.

When it came time to start planning the Denver wedding they both discovered new things about themselves. He realized he didn’t mind going to Micheal’s on a Friday night to get materials for a DIY project. She realized that she is one of those girls, who really cared about the personal touches at her wedding. Caki left no detail untouched and made their wedding the perfect day for their family and friends.

Caki and Ryan are perfect together. They are the type of couple who you wish you had in your circle of friends. They gave us a little glimpse into their world during their engagement session, but we had no idea how truly incredible these two really are.

Thank you Caki and Ryan for F Zero, Sushi Den, introducing us to your family, and letting us be a part of your world. We hope you enjoy Vietnam.

  1. [...] Merry Christmas Vietnam!!! Oh wait, it isn’t Christmas but we got a hell of a present this morning… PHOTOS! Not just any photos, phenomenal photos. Adam and Imthiaz are masters of their craft. They captured quiet moments, baronial speeches ( just kidding daddy ), beautiful children, crazy maniacs all over the dance floor, artistic details, and somehow put together a series of photographs that embody the very essence of that fantastic night in March. Please scoot on over to their blog and check it out… http://www.ahpphotos.com/blog/2011/04/06/caki-ryan-denver-wedding/ [...]

Lisa & Rory: Denver Engagement04.05.11

What I love about spring is the small glimpses of summer. The trees and grass are starting to turn green. Flowers are starting to bloom. You hear the birds chirping and the smell of barbecue. But, the best part of spring is Spring Training.

When the boys come back from Arizona, we’re one step closer to summer… and baseball season. As the season gets underway I can’t wait for Sunday afternoons, wearing sunscreen, drinking flat beer, and eating hot dogs. We’re still convinced the only reason Zoe loves going to baseball games and cheering on the Rockies is because their uniform has purple in it.

So, what do you do when you get engaged and are big baseball fans? Do your engagement session at at Coors Field. Here are some highlights from Lisa and Rory’s engagement season just weeks before opening day.

Here’s to freshly cut grass, cotton candy, and one heck of a season! Enjoy.
