Two years ago Nick and Megan moved to Colorado together. They found a home here in Denver and made it their own. When Nick thought about how he would like to propose he knew it would be in the mountains. It would be in the darkness of the night after a romantic dinner. They had just finished dinner at Der Fondue Chessel on the top of Keystone Mountain, and got onto the gondola to make their way down. That is when Nick got down on one knee.

Megan had no idea what Nick was trying to do. She thought Nick was trying to kiss her, so she got down and tried to give him a kiss too. Nick stopped and told her to hang on a sec. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring. What he didn’t think about was the darkness of the night. Megan was so excited and happy that they both pulled out their cell phones and used the light from the screens to see the ring. As he put the ring on her finger she finally got the kiss she thought he was trying to give her.
