When we first heard about Coffey he was on Nashville Star. His words spoke to us and we loved that he was not only competing for himself, but he was also competing for his daughter. We followed his journey through the end of the show and knew that good things were in store for him. We loved his style and his music. His music is a combination of country, hip-hop, and pop. So… when we were invited to document his visit to Denver’s Zyxter Church we were thrilled.
As he performed he told us about his journey and what had lead him to music. We were shocked to find out that the uber fabulous Micheal Norwood, whom we LOVE and admire, helped teach Coffey how to play guitar. He rocked the house performing with The Noise Band.
