For months I have been thinking about Shantell and Robert. It is not because they were our last weddings of the year, but their engagement story has stuck with me. Even thinking about their wedding right now brings tears to my eyes. There is no doubt that Shantell and Robert are in love. There is no doubt how perfect they are together. There is no doubt that they have each others backs, and they are each others rock to lean on.
We knew from the very beginning their wedding at Saint Malo would be beautiful and intimate. Only about 60 friends and family made the long trip to Colorado from all over the country to spend the weekend at the Stanley Hotel. Shantell and Robert allowed us to be a part of their family for the weekend and let us be a part of their lives.
As they exchanged vows they laughed, giggled, and shed tears of joy. Their reception was nothing short of amazing with the help of Seize the Day Event Planners. Their family and friends gave their toasts, Robert and Shantell had their first dance as husband and wife, and tears filled the room. They make you want to fall in love all over again. They are the couple that brings us back to the reason why Adam and I are wedding photojournalists. You can not help but be inspired by Shantell and Robert, their joy is one of a kind.
Words can not thank you enough Shantell and Robert for allowing Adam and I to document the start of your lives together. It truly was a joy to be around you and your family we can not wait to meet the rest of them in a few weeks. Thank you.
