Last week we celebrated our 200th blog post. As you know we ran an 8 word contest for the best moment in your life. We received some really great entries and are very excited to announce the winner. I felt it only fitting to announce the winner with this amazing post. As many of you know Alex Witkowitz has been helping us out this summer.
He had the pleasure of documenting Don and Hiep’s engagement ceremony. Don and Hiep are such a cute couple and are getting married next year. Don and his family went to Hiep’s family’s home to ask for her hand in marriage. In the Vietnamese culture the engagement ceremony is just as (if not more) important than the actual wedding. Family and friends come together to witness two people in love make the journey into marriage.
Alex was there to document their special occasion and celebrate along with Don and Hiep’s families. Thank you Alex for all of your hard work this summer, Adam and I are very thankful to have you as part of our team. Congratulations Don and Hiep, we can not wait for the wedding next summer! And Congratulations to our contest winner Kara, “Move in so you’re beside me every night!”. Your story was amazing.
